Another death

My great uncle Norman died this weekend. That makes everyone in this picture except my mother a widow. In order, left to right: Sarah’s husband, Sam Wald died a year or two before my grandfather. Marian’s husband Mickey Rossman died a year after my grandfather. Skipping over my mother, that leaves Bernice, who was married to Norman.

All but one of the men of my grandparents’ generation have now died.

  2. Ai, so much death lately — it’s no good! 😦 I’m very sorry to hear the news — hugs.

  3. May you know comfort! May you continue to weave meaning and continuity!

  4. So sorry to hear about your loss. May you be comforted.

  5. A little belated, but my condolences to you and your family. As the generations start to pass, I notice how we are taking place in different roles in our families and the world….so many changes.
