Poems

Our vacation is coming to an end. Sad, but I’m also looking forward to getting back to our home, and to our kitties.

Three Haiku for the Oregon Coast

1.
Waves click over the rocks
Green anemones open
Hermits run across.

2.
Teenagers build fires
The ocean is still loudest
Kiss under the stars.

3.
The sea lions bark
The seagulls squawk on their rock
Well-fed on Rogue beer.

  1. Were you in Newport? So jealous.

  2. I love the Oregon coast 🙂

  3. Yes! We were…Stayed at the Sylvia Beach Hotel. It was wonderful.

  4. Okay, so I know you mean crabs, but I now have this image of a sun-burnt, naked man with a very long beard (yes, I watched Life of Brian too many times) running across the beach. Thanks!
