Thoughts on the DNC hoopla tonight

I kind of wish Brian Schweitzer, who is currently the governor of Montana, was our VP candidate.  He brought the crowd to their feet, and I had never even heard of him before tonight.

Also, Clinton’s speech was awesome.  Classy, strong, and very clear: Vote for Obama if you supported me, because we can’t afford four more years of McSame.

“We don’t have a moment to lose or a vote to spare. Nothing less than the fate of our nation hangs in the balance…let’s elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden.”

Also, it is my belief that one of the reasons Obama did not select Clinton to be his VP is because he plans to offer her a position in his administration.  Which one do you think he might offer her?

  1. I don’t think she’s a candidate for a administration position. The reason why is mostly that she is so powerful in the Senate and it’s a position she has for life, if she wants it. Only the Supreme Court would be an ‘upgrade’, and she’s too old to be offered that one.

I think she would make a fine Attorney General, but I can’t see why she would take it.

I actually think her position will be pretty predictable: she will be the person in the Senate making health care happen.
