That didn’t take long

R. Kelly has written a new song entitled “I Believe” about Obama’s election.  A few weeks ago, someone was speculating that Obama’s election might have  trickle down effect on the hiphop/rap world. Specifically, that it might shift the anger and transform it into something else.  A while back, Shawn wrote about observing a shift just in how a group of young African-American men walked the morning after Obama’s election. I think this is the first tangible evidence of this, and it’s available for free on iTunes.

“When the mountains seem too high and you don’t have the courage or the strength to climb…still you run although you cannot see the finish line…your victory made history…I believe I believe I believe…” (R.Kelly)
