Why managed care sucks, part 56,324

Because everything – and I do mean EVERYTHING – is set up to make money for the CEOs rather than life easier for the people the insurance is supposedly there to help.

When you think about it, the idea that we have a for-profit system determining access to people’s physical and mental health needs is nothing less than APPALLING and disgraceful.

Can you tell I’ve spent the last 30 minutes of my life trying to navigate Blue Cross’s phone system in order to speak to an actual person? Grrr.
